My Beautiful Reward a ouvert un concert qui a vu les retours de Empty Sky et de All the Way Home (seule chanson du nouvel album a n'avoir pas encore été jouée sur la tournée). The Line, un titre peu utilisé lors de la tournée Tom Joad, a aussi fait son retour, de même que The River (au piano), inoubliable temps fort de la soirée, qui valut une standing ovation à Springsteen. Nils Lofgren a prêté ses talents de guitariste et de choriste pour une version longue de Waitin' on a Sunny Day. Le son, dans ce vieux théâtre de L.A., était paraît-il fantastique.
