Concert au Stone Pony le samedi 16 novembre
Pour l'instant, peu de détails sur ce concert surprise si ce n'est que Springsteen aurait joué une vingtaine de titres (reprises et titres de son répertoire).
Bruce played a 22-song, two-hour set at a private benefit for Boston College at the Stone Pony on Saturday night. About 400 people in attendance. Invited guest only.I listened to the whole show outside the stage door with two other people,, one being Clarence's son Jarod Clemons.
Bruce was backed up by Bobby Bandiera's band and Max Weinberg played about half the show on drums.
Show began at 7:40 p.m. Set list:
1. 634-5789; 2. Seven Nights to Rock; 3. Darlington County; 4. Spirit in the Night; 5. Growin' Up; 6. Because The Night; 7. Two Hearts; 8. Cadillac Ranch ("I need shots of tequila" Bruce said before playing it; 9. Rendezvous; 10. Layonne Holmes came up to do Boy In New York City; 11. From Small Things (Bobby Bandiera doing most of the lead vocals); 12. I'm On Fire; 13. Waiting on A Sunny Day; 14. Talk to Me; 15. Fourth of July Asbury Park (Sandy) After the song Bruce talked about how great Asbury Park is now and it's a good spot to spend a few hours. That Madam Marie's booth is still there and to check out Convention Hall; 16, Tenth Avenue Freeze-out; 17. Dancing in the Dark; 18. Born to Run; 19. Rosalita; 20. Detroit Medley; 21. Twist & Shout; 22. Thunder Road (solo acoustic).
Some notes: Bobby Bandiera's band had a three-piece horn section. Sounded great. One couple going into the show told me tickets were $25,000 per couple. Last time Bruce played on the Stone Pony indoor stage was on Oct. 22, 2011 also for a Boston College benefit.
