L'album Born to run fut de nouveau à la fête pour ce deuxième concert à East Rutherford. En effet, après Backstreets la nuit dernière, ce furent deux nouveaux classiques de 1975 qui retinrent l'attention : Meeting across the river (toute première version en solo au piano) et Born to run dans les rappels (à la guitare et à la harpe). Le Boss a dédié cette chanson à Don Ienner de Columbia Records. Two For the Road fut dédicacée à Scott Greenstein et à la radio Sirius qui diffuse ses chansons en continu depuis le 1er novembre ("C'est le rêve de tout artiste : vous allumez la radio et vous n'entendez que vous-même !") ; Used cars fut chantée en souvenir de son père ; Frankie pour un père et son fils des Pays-Bas ; Drive all night (à la demande d'un fan) à deux amoureux. Puis ce fut Brilliant disguise... inutile d'aller chercher bien loin pour celle-ci : car Patti Scialfa se joignit à Bruce pour un duo très intime (Patti avait d'ailleurs aidé son Boss de mari durant le concert Storytellers sur cette même chanson ; ce fut aussi son premier duo sur la tournée.) Une setlist très stellaire by the way et un Bruce revigoré après son coup de froid, prêt "à rouler à travers des châteaux de gloire".
