Soundcheck: Another thin line / If I should fall behind / Johnny 99 / Man's job / New York City serenade / Rendezvous / Roulette Pour ce premier concert au Shea Stadium, Springsteen & Co. ont choisi d'ouvrir le bal avec "Souls of the Departed". Si l'on ajoute "Who'll Stop the Rain" et le retour de "Born in the U.S.A." en version full band dans les rappels, on obtient un concert plutôt marqué politiquement à gauche. A noter aussi deux nouveautés sur cette tournée, avec "Johnny 99", que Bruce avait jouée lors de la tournée Tom Joad en 1997 et "Man's Job", interprétée pour la première fois par le E Street Band. "Night" a remplacé "Roulette", initialement prévue dans la setlist. On remarquera aussi que "Brilliant Disguise" et "Tunnel of Love" ont été jouées une nouvelle fois.
