Une nouvelle ouverture acoustique avec "This Hard Land" a confirmé la volonté de changement affichée par Bruce depuis le début de la tournée des stades européens. Ludwigshafen a aussi eu droit à "Spirit in the Night", "Racing in the Street", jouée full-band et "Glory Days" à la place du "Detroit Medley". Patti était encore absente.-
